Idiomatic output comes from context and tone

Hand a translation engine a bare "ok", "sure" or "how much is this" and the result is often nonsense. Context is what makes it mean something.

Translation settings: pinning a target language and tone for one contact
Each translation carries the last few turns of the conversation, so pronouns, ellipsis and jargon land correctly. Language and tone can be pinned per contact. · illustration, not an actual screenshot

Each request carries the last few turns of the conversation as reference only — they are not translated themselves. Who a pronoun refers to, what was omitted, the model number mentioned a line earlier: all of it connects.

Tone is set per contact: business, natural, concise, friendly or warm. Korean adds one more layer — formal (존대말) or casual (반말), which for a Korean customer is the line between polite and rude.

The contact name has to match exactly what is shown at the top of the chat window. Anything without its own rule follows the default.
