FAQ

The ten questions people ask before buying. Each answer leads with the conclusion.

Do I need to bring my own AI key?

No. Translation is provided by the platform; it works as soon as you sign up. Early versions required users to supply an API key — that is no longer the case.

Which chat apps are supported?

WhatsApp Web and KakaoTalk desktop. A template mechanism also covers other web-based chat tools (Telegram, Zalo, Messenger and others) through rules pushed from the server — the "sites" page inside the software shows what is currently live. LINE desktop is still under evaluation.

Is there a Mac or mobile version?

No — Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) only. The KakaoTalk side depends on the Windows accessibility layer, and the same reliability is not achievable on other platforms.

Could it send my Chinese text to a customer by mistake?

No. On failure, timeout, lost connection or malformed output, the tool restores your original text, sends nothing and never retries silently. KakaoTalk adds a mechanical layer: with its send key set to Ctrl+Enter, a plain Enter only inserts a line break, so even a dead tool cannot send. You can also pick "confirm before sending" in the quick bar, which fills the translation into the box and waits for you.

Why does KakaoTalk have to be set to Ctrl+Enter?

So that sending your Chinese by mistake becomes mechanically impossible. By default Enter is the send key, leaving no buffer between your Chinese and it going out. With Ctrl+Enter, Enter only inserts a line break; the tool intercepts it, translates, and sends the translation with Ctrl+Enter.

Why do I have to press Ctrl+C for KakaoTalk incoming messages?

KakaoTalk paints its chat content onto the window, so no text is readable at system level and full automation is impossible the way it works on WhatsApp. With "translate on copy" enabled, select the customer’s message and press Ctrl+C — the translation appears in a floating bar at the bottom right. Copying gives real text, so there are no recognition errors.

Will my account get banned?

The tool types and sends inside your own real account, on your behalf. No mass messaging, no account farming, no touching platform protocols, and no injection into the chat app’s internals. That said, you remain bound by the terms of the platforms you use, and you are responsible for every message sent through it.

What does it cost, and what if I run out of quota?

20 USDT per 30 days, including 100,000 characters of translation per month, counting both directions. Sign-up includes a 3-day free trial with no payment up front. When the quota runs out you can renew or wait for the monthly reset; your history is unaffected.

First run says "unknown publisher" — is it safe?

That appears because the installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen steps in; click "More info" then "Run anyway". The installer’s sha512 is published in latest.yml — the same file the auto-updater uses — so you can verify it yourself.

Who can see my chat content?

To translate, your text passes through our server and is forwarded to a third-party AI provider; the translation history is stored under your account for you to search. We do not train models on it and do not resell it. For highly confidential material, use your own judgement about whether to run it through any translation service. See the privacy policy for details.
